Rekomit ("Rekomit", "we", "us", "our") is operated as a sole trader by Abiodun Akorede Salami, based in Canada. When you use Rekomit (the "Service") you are entering into a binding agreement with Abiodun Akorede Salami trading as Rekomit.

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and, if using the Service on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to bind it.

Rekomit is a shame-free accountability companion for people managing focus, habits and long-running personal missions. Features may change, be added, or be removed as the product evolves.

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that happens under your account.

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular you will not: (a) use it for any unlawful purpose; (b) send spam, engage in fraud, or infringe anyone's rights; (c) upload malware, probe or scan our systems, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with security; (d) resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service; or (e) circumvent any technical limits.

You retain ownership of the content you put into Rekomit (missions, habits, notes, ideas). You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, store, and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

The Service, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, applicable taxes, currency conversion, invoicing, subscription renewal and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

We work hard to keep Rekomit reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, we may delete your account data after a reasonable window.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The courts located in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
